Brit Mollenhauer is an Assistant Professor and movement disorder specialist with specialty training in neurochemistry. She is an expert in biomarkers for Parkinson's, including assay development and validation with focus on α-synuclein and other proteins. She is a member of executive steering committee of the Parkinson Progression Marker Initiative (PPMI) study (MJFF) and co-chair of the bioanalytics core of PPMI. Dr. Mollenhauer established a single-center cohort on de novo Parkinson's and healthy controls and subjects with REM sleep behavior disorder in Kassel (DeNoPa-cohort), which was followed biannually.
